What a great local Indian restaurant. Set around the theme of a railway carriage its got a lovely cosy interior tastefully styled. The service is impeccable and the food is quality with the right amount of "heat". Well worth a visit but based on tonight I'd recommend booking in advance.

I think this is the best Indian meal I've ever had. Very high-quality ingredients and great flavours. The lamb shank madras was our highlight, but the butter chicken was also fantastic. It was all reasonably priced, and the service was great. Would highly recommend Chook Chook to anyone.

This is was Mix Veg Moilee A light, fragrant south-Indian-style curry, cooked with mixed vegetables and tempered with coconut milk. Was frozen veg with unflavoured sauce Lamb curry had 6 pieces of meat for 13 50 Probably the worst curry I have had in 30 years Avoid at all costs

We were greeted and welcomed last minute on a sunday, which was nice considering they were so busy! Chook Chook reminds me of Dishoom in central, which is definitely a compliment in terms of the decor. It is a little smaller and a more intimate restaurant though, which isnt a bad thing. The service was good and attentive. The food was very good. Good levels of spice, flavour and presented with good portion sizes. Everything was freshly prepared and the meats Nicely marinated. I would definitely recommend this place! If you're in the area check it out, you wont be disappointed!

Good quality modern Indian food in chic atmosphere with decent service. If you lived in the vicinity, it’s a great place to come and repeat but sadly not really a place worth coming a long way for me 🙈

The food here is so good, it is like the affordable version of Dishoom. The Delhi Butter Chicken and Railway Chicken curries were amazing. Highly recommend!

Really disappointed. Attended this evening after what looked like a really nice place, but food was not up-to expectations and injustice to Indian street food. Bombay bhel had to be return as very soft and chewy for what should be a crispy dish. 2nd portion was the same and had to returned and removed off the bill. Delhi papri chaat, okay, but wrong yogurt and lack of it spoilt what would’ve could’ve been an easy winner. Pav bhaji saved the review being 1*. Buns cooked to perfection and flavour of masala okay. But proper Indian food enthusiast would say it lacked lots of flavour.
